Twenty-five more minutes to go 'til I get off work. And counting. Sigh.

Wait
Time passes.

Wait
Time passes.

What I wouldn't give to play Zork now. LOL.

The Choir

Today I have rediscovered one of my favorite musical groups of all time: The Choir. Their songs are heart-ful, soul-filled melodies that permeate your sense of being and transport you in time and space emotionally. The Choir's songs blend a mixture of styles artfully to create a collection of songs like a mosaic. The group perfectly merges dissonance and assonance to create songs that operate on many different levels. This is the first time I've heard some of their songs. Heck, I only have one of their tapes.(The circle Slide) Unfortunately, I had to pawn "Free Flying Soul" CD that had the "Salamander" song on it. But now I would love to get their "Speckled Bird" 1994 albumn. . . I have a new favorite "Choir" song. I've just discovered, "I Love Your Mind". Its a great example of alternative rock at its poetic best. Its a great blend of the assonance and dissonance too. Check it out at their website:(You need RealOne Player to play this song I believe.)
http://www.danielamos.com/choir/iloveyourmind.rm

Other great songs of theirs are below:

Beautiful Scandalous Night, The Choir http://www.danielamos.com/choir/beautifulscandalousnight.rm
(www.thechoir.net , 3 min 31 sec)

Chase The Kangaroo, The Choir http://www.danielamos.com/choir/chasethekangaroo.rm

Tear For Tear http://www.thechoir.net/Audio/circle_slide/tearfortear.mp3

About Love http://www.thechoir.net/Audio/circle_slide/aboutlv.mp3

A Sentimental Song http://www.thechoir.net/Audio/circle_slide/sentimental.mp3

Merciful Eyes http://www.thechoir.net/Audio/circle_slide/merciful.mp3

All song links used without formal permission from singingfish.net and www.thechoir.net as they free for all fans to listen to.
Extreme Organization!

Today is the day I finally got my supplies to get organized. Thanks to Melissa boone! I was hesitant to ask for help since Leigh Ann Baugh is on vacation but it definitely paid off. Its good that I was able to ask for the supplies I needed.

Mom's Birthday

Today is mom's birthday and I'm flat broke. I wish I could do something nice for her. I talked to John and he suggested calling her, and I'll do that. I just wish I could get her that Mother's devotional bible in a plum color. Oh well. I can only do what I can do I suppose. I have to be realistic and start being more realistic.

Teresa's Word

Teresa's word after the songs at the Vineyard 2nd service; Sunday  2wks ago on May 19, 2002;
I can't gain it.
I never had it.
I can't loose it.
Its a gift.
And I just have to accept it.

This reminds me of Pastor Greg's message, "salvation is gift", from earlier this year in January. Its not something I can gain. I never had it in the first place. Its not something I can loose. Jesus did it all. Isn't that wonderful? Its finally sinking in.

MSN Messenger Problems Update

Well, its been a few hours. But I've tried many times and I still keep getting this message: "Signing in to MSN Messenger Service failed because the service is not responding. The service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet." But I know I'm connected to the Internet because I'm using it for work. Hmmm. . . This does not make sense. This is "Chewbecca". Chewbecca lives on Endor. . . This does not make sense!

MSN Messenger

It looks like msn messenger is down. It is quite odd because for 1 1/2 months the service has been unpredictably perfect for me. This is a 'first'. Well, I guess I won't be able to log into messenger today or at least this morning. I keep getting a message that the servers are down. What a bummer!:(

Grandparent's Day

My friend, Tammy offered me lunch today. I had a piece of her famous Chicken Alfredo Lasagna. It was extremely sumptuous and exquisite! But I was running late from lunch because her lunch was 25 minutes into my lunchtime.
Its going to be Grandparent's Day soon. Sandy and Tammy were talking about it in the breakroom during lunch. Tammy thinks its all about propaganda. I did celebrate it for my grandparents for two years and they enjoyed it very much. They didn't even know there was a Grandparents Day until then. I wish I had done it more often now that they're gone. I miss them.

Another Day In The Life of. . .

Today there is a lot of construction going on everywhere at Lifeway. Its somewhat chaotic and causing some system problems today at work. I just finished setting up an account and ordering a plethora of bulletins for a new customer. Then, during break I set up my LiveJournal acct. I got a lot done in a short time. It is rather busy though for a Wednesday afternoon, though. Probably due to all the lines going dead this morning here when they were doing construction.
